Des étudiants ougandais, soutenus par le Gouvernement de l'Ouganda ont fait lancer officiellement une voiture électrique hier, 13 Novembre 2014, à Nairobi.

La voiture dénommée "Kiira EV SMACK". Elle sera fabriquée en série par la firme "Kiira Motors Corporation" et serait commercialisée dès 2018.
