Pour marquer les esprits à son lancement, le Range Rover Sport a choisi de réaliser un exploit bien particulier : grimper au paradis.

La porte du paradis est un monument chinois très symbolique. Située dans la montagne Tianmen, on y accède à l'issue d'une longue ascension, après une route à 99 virages et un escalier de 999 marches. Avant que le Range Rover P400e ne s'y attaque, aucune voiture n'avait réussi la montée complète.

 

 

Pour réaliser l'exploit, Range Rover a recruté pour l'occasion le plus grand pilote chinois né aux Pays-Bas de tous les temps : Ho-Pin Tung.
