Hi everyone, I live in India and have been using an EV for a while now. I’ve seen a big improvement in the number of EV charging stations in India, especially in cities. But on highways or in smaller towns, it’s still a bit patchy. Would love to hear how others are managing charging on longer drives or in less-developed areas. Which apps or networks do you rely on?

Been in the EV space a while, and while it's exciting to see the momentum in 2025, I keep coming back to the same concerns: Infrastructure is expanding, but reliability and user experience are still lagging. Battery lifecycle strategies (second-life, recycling) aren’t scaling with adoption. Everyone talks V2G, but few are solving the regulatory or utility-side barriers. Meanwhile, vehicle tech keeps getting smarter—range gains from software alone are no longer theoretical. Would love to hear from others in the space: What challenges are you seeing that aren’t getting enough attention right now?

I've been thinking about switching to an electric scooter for daily commuting, but I’m curious, how reliable are they in the long run? Battery life, build quality, service availability—do they hold up well after 2-3 years of use? Would love to hear from those who've used EV scooters like the Ather, Ola S1, or TVS iQube for a while. Any issues or maintenance challenges?

Hi everyone! I'm Avi, new to the forum and currently exploring the world of electric vehicles. I’m in the 25-30 age group and based in Delhi, India. The EV that’s really caught my eye is the Hyundai Ioniq 5. Its futuristic design, spacious interior, long range, and tech-forward features like V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) make it stand out. I don’t own an EV yet, but the Ioniq 5 is at the top of my list as I plan to make the switch soon. My daily driving is mostly within the city — around 30–40 km — with the occasional highway trip on weekends. Home charging will be a key part of my setup, so I’m doing a lot of research on infrastructure and real-world charging experiences. I’ve joined this forum to connect with other EV enthusiasts, learn from actual users of the Ioniq 5, and better understand what to expect in day-to-day ownership.
